Who are we?

The mission of the Society for Palliative Radiation Oncology (SPRO) is to improve the lives of patients with advanced cancer by advancing the use of radiation therapy for palliation. SPRO is committed to promoting evidence-based practices, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and enhancing education and research in palliative radiotherapy. By supporting clinicians in delivering compassionate, timely, and effective symptom-directed care, SPRO aims to ensure that every patient receives high-quality radiation treatment that aligns with their goals and improves their quality of life.
